Inquiries and supporting documents submitted through SuretyPH may be referred to the applicable participating insurer for evaluation. Submission does not constitute approval or issuance of a surety bond. Applications are subject to the insurer's requirements, evaluation, underwriting, terms, conditions, and approval.

Chapter 8 — SuretyPH How-To Guides

How to Submit a Surety Bond Inquiry on SuretyPH

You can submit a bond inquiry from the public SuretyPH inquiry form without an account, or use Get Bond Options inside the portal. Either way, submitting an inquiry is not approval by any insurer.

Direct answer

Complete the SuretyPH inquiry form, tick the consent box, and select SUBMIT INQUIRY. You receive an Inquiry Reference No. on screen. That reference lets you track your inquiry. Receiving an Inquiry Reference No. does not mean that the inquiry or any resulting bond application has been approved by an insurer.

Option 1 — the public inquiry form

1. Enter Name / Company, Mobile Number and Email Address. These three are required. 2. Choose a Type of Bond: Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Advance Payment Bond, Contractor Bond, Commercial Bond, Other Surety Requirement, or Not Sure. 3. Add the details you have: Required Date, Bond Amount (PHP), Contract / Project Amount (PHP) and Project / Obligee. 4. Use Message for deadlines, the wording required, or anything else relevant. 5. Optionally attach one Supporting Document — PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB — by dragging it in or selecting Choose file. 6. Tick the consent statement, then select SUBMIT INQUIRY. 7. Keep the Inquiry Reference No. shown on the confirmation screen. From there you can go straight to TRACK MY INQUIRY.

Option 2 — Get Bond Options in the portal

Signed-in applicants can use Get Bond Options, which walks through Bond, Project, Company, Background, Documents and Review, and creates a bond request you can open under My Bond Requests. Portal users can also prepare a fuller record under New Bond Application.

Inquiry submission is not insurer approval

The confirmation screen says so directly: submission of an inquiry does not constitute approval or issuance of a surety bond. No response time or decision period is promised anywhere in the process.

Preparing before you submit

Details you may want on hand are set out in What Information Is Usually Needed for a Bond Inquiry? and the General Pre-Submission Checklist.

Key considerations

Evaluation, underwriting, documentary requirements, terms, premium, collateral requirements where applicable, approval and issuance remain functions of the applicable participating insurer or Surety. SuretyPH provides information, accepts inquiries, supports document submission, facilitates applications and communicates status.

Key takeaway

Submit through the public inquiry form or Get Bond Options in the portal, keep the Inquiry Reference No., and remember that a submitted inquiry is not an approved application.
