Chapter 8 — SuretyPH How-To Guides

How to Check the Status of Your Inquiry

Use Track My Inquiry with your Inquiry Reference No. and contact email, or sign in and open My Bond Requests or My Applications. A displayed status describes where the inquiry sits in the SuretyPH process and should not be read as approval.

Direct answer

Open Track My Inquiry, enter your Inquiry Reference No. and Contact email, and select CHECK INQUIRY STATUS. Signed-in applicants can instead open the record in the portal.

Steps for public tracking

1. Go to Track My Inquiry. 2. Enter the Inquiry Reference No. you received when you submitted. 3. Enter the Contact email you used. 4. Select CHECK INQUIRY STATUS. 5. The panel shows the current status together with Principal, Obligee, Bond amount, Submission deadline and Last updated.

If nothing is found, the page says so — check the reference number and the email address you submitted with.

In the portal

My Bond Requests shows each request with its state, such as Draft, Submitted, Under Initial Review, Ready for Insurer Matching or Cancelled. My Applications and Dashboard show application records and their current stage.

Reading the status

Tracking uses inquiry-oriented wording, and stages whose value comes from the insurance provider are prefixed accordingly — for example Insurance Provider Status: For Underwriting Review. Wording such as Referred for Processing, For Referral to Insurance Provider or For Underwriting Review describes where the file sits. None of it means the bond is approved. The page carries its own Important Notice confirming that submission or tracking does not by itself constitute approval, binding or issuance.

Statuses that do report an insurer outcome say so in plain words, for example Approved by Insurance Provider or Bond Issued by Insurance Provider.

What tracking does not provide

  • It is not a live feed of insurer decision-making.
  • It does not promise any timeframe.
  • It does not replace the messages on your bond request, which is where SuretyPH writes to you when something is needed.

Key considerations

Evaluation, underwriting, documentary requirements, terms, premium, collateral requirements where applicable, approval and issuance remain functions of the applicable participating insurer or Surety. SuretyPH provides information, accepts inquiries, supports document submission, facilitates applications and communicates status.

Key takeaway

Track with your reference number and contact email, or in the portal. Status wording shows where your file sits, and insurer-sourced stages are labelled as such — none of it means the bond is approved.
